In the field of information on press, two books in English, collecting several articles by Father Kizito published in the Sunday page of the major newspaper of the East Africa (The Nation), have been published:

"Father Kizito's Notebook" (Nairobi, Koinonia Media Centre, 1996);

"Father Kizito's Notebook 2" (Nairobi, Koinonia Media Centre, 1998).

In Italian, a book collecting letters and considerations by Father Kizito from 1988 to 1998 entitled "Occhi per l'Africa"(Bologna, Editrice Missionaria Italiana, 1999) has been published.

"Crimini di guerra" edited by Roy Gutman and David Rieff, Internazionale Contrasto, Roma, 1999. Manual particularly important to judge the war crimes, it is divided into concise subjects accompanied by photos by famous photographers.
It has been carried out by an international équipe of authoritative reporters, legal and war experts. The Italian version has been made with the support of Amani who is going to employ the proceeds of the sale for the “Nuba emergency” project. Amani with its project in favour of the Nuba from Sudan asserts its right to the humanitarian interference against the war crimes.

"Stati d'infanzia", photos by Francesco Zizola, Contrasto Photo Poche collection, Roma, 1999. “Black” book of a big photographer from Rome on the state of children.
Exceptional reportage on malnutrition, forced departures, social injustice versus helpless children.
 

"Il dramma del Sudan. Specchio dell'Africa", by Irene Panozzo, EMI, Bologna, 2000.
Hystorical investigation on causes and effects of the civil war in Sudan through the Aegyptian expansionist policy, the British colonialism and the current centralizing policy of the Karthoum Government. A story of human rights violation in the civil war where the arab peoples of the North are against the african peoples of the South.

"Pancia piena pancia vuota. Così gira la ruota", edited by Anna Izzo and Maria Perego, Aba Comunicazioni, Genova, 2001.
A dozen tales written by children and boys from 6 to 13 years old on the occasion of a competition on the subject of indigence.
For the adults, a significant “cross-section” of how the concept of indigence is felt by children.
The proceeds of the sale of this book will be addressed to Amani for supporting the “Kivuli” project.
 

"Made in Africa. Storie di un continente che rinasce", by Anna Pozzi, Editrice Monti, Saronno (VA), 2000. The book describes the experience of a group of young people from Nairobi and an Italian missionary, Father Kizito, who toghether founded the Koinonia community. From this, a great number of initiatives came out: the street children homes and many other projects of Koinonia.
